I had high hopes for this shoe after reading the product reviews. I wore them around a little on short walks to prepare to bring them on a 2 week sightseeing vacation. They seemed comfortable enough, initially. BUT on the trip, wearing them longer, an unexpected thing happened. After 2 days I started to get a pinching type of acute pain in the top of my left foot, around the toe area. It became swollen. This literally almost ruined my vacation, and after coming home a podiatrist is still treating this. I left the shoes behind and bought a different pair by another maker that allowed me to hobble along and not have to go home! I don't think there's enough arch support in the shoe and I think the toe box is too narrow. They're probably OK for running errands and a short walk, IF your feet are quite narrow, but if not - buyer beware!
the: Damiani Italian Clothing aging effect looks like white spray paint in real lifenot as subtle as i wouldve hoped. a little too bold looking, as it does not look authentic in real life, like it does on the picture. too bad. otherwise a fantastic shoe. somewhat tight, so perhaps order up a half size.
